At the press conference, Deputy Secretary General Cao Xianping of the Haikou Municipal People's Government stated that, in terms of predicting the peak period for leaving the island, based on the transport patterns of the past 3 years, advance ticket sales data, weather conditions, and transportation capacity, the peak period for leaving the island after the holiday is expected to be from February 20th to 23rd. The peak day will see 22,000 vehicles leaving the island, including 20,000 small vehicles and 2,000 large vehicles. Among the large vehicles, the proportion of green passage vehicles is relatively high, reaching 55%-60%. In terms of weather forecast, the overall weather is expected to be good in the second half of the holiday, with light fog predicted in the mornings and evenings of the 21st, 24th, and 25th, and a low risk of service suspension due to severe weather.
