Reporters learned from the Ministry of Commerce that in the first four days of the Spring Festival holiday, various regions organized the "Happy Shopping for the New Year" special event, increased policy support efforts, boosted the rapid growth of commodity and service consumption, and continued to stimulate holiday consumption vitality. Commerce big data shows that in the first four days of the holiday, the daily sales of key retail and catering enterprises in the country increased by 8.6% compared to the first four days of the holiday in 2025. In the first three days of the holiday, the foot traffic and turnover of 78 key monitored pedestrian streets by the Ministry of Commerce increased by 4.5% and 4.8% respectively compared to the same period last year.
