The head of the Procuratorate Appeals Department, Chen Zhecheng, recently introduced that by 2025, the procuratorate will further promote judicial assistance work, continuously improve the assistance mechanism, and continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of assistance, providing "charcoal in the snow" and solving urgent problems for parties in distress due to cases. From January to November 2025, procuratorates nationwide distributed a total of 4.9 billion yuan in judicial assistance funds to 35,000 victims.
