Two mandatory national standards on postal industry safety production issued.

Journalists learned from the State Post Bureau that two mandatory national standards for the postal industry were recently approved and published by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Management Committee, and will be implemented starting from January 1, 2027. The "Postal Industry Safety Production Operation Specifications" stipulate the basic requirements for safety production operations in the postal industry, as well as the content of safety production operations such as receiving, sorting, and transportation. The "Postal Industry Safety Production Equipment Configuration Specifications" stipulate the basic requirements for the configuration of safety production equipment in the postal industry, as well as the specific requirements for the configuration of safety production equipment in business premises, processing facilities, transportation vehicles, etc. The relevant person in charge of the State Post Bureau stated that the two standards were originally mandatory industry standards, but have now been upgraded to mandatory national standards, further enhancing the applicability to the new situations and developments in the postal industry.
