According to preliminary estimates, on the first day of the 2026 Spring Festival holiday, Guangdong Province received a total of 1.42 million visitors at 4A-rated and above scenic spots; 472,000 visitors in 14 key areas along the 14 ancient post roads included in the monitoring; 215,000 visitors in 13 red tourism classic scenic spots included in the monitoring; 317,000 visitors in 100 rural tourism spots and historic villages included in the monitoring; and 206,000 visitors in 80 key public cultural institutions included in the monitoring.
