According to reports, the US military has for the first time transported a micro nuclear reactor by air. On February 15th local time, three C-17 transport planes delivered the unloaded fuel component of the experimental reactor Ward 250 of US nuclear technology startup company Valar Atomics from March Air Reserve Base in California to Hill Air Force Base in Utah, with plans to transport it to a laboratory for testing and evaluation. Just minutes before the airlift began, the "Department of War" in the US also posted on social media, announcing the "airlift of the next generation nuclear reactor," stating that this is following an order by US President Trump to promote nuclear energy. In May last year, Trump signed four executive orders aimed at accelerating the development of the nuclear energy industry.
