Due to involvement with Epstein, the chairman of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee plans to sell his own artist management and marketing company.
According to reports, Casey Wasserman sent an internal memo to employees on Friday evening local time, stating that he is preparing to sell the artist management and marketing company named after him. Previously, ambiguous emails exchanged years ago between him and Jeffrey Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, were made public, and several prominent artists have already resigned from the company. Wasserman told employees that he feels he has become a "distraction" to the company's business, and therefore has initiated the process of selling the company. He also serves as the chairman of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee. According to sources, the committee unanimously passed a resolution earlier this week to continue having Wasserman serve as chairman.
