GPHL corruption case exposed: Former chairman Li Chuyuan's close relatives suspected of receiving shares from Kangmei Pharmaceutical.

On the evening of February 12th, a report on annual typical cases of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. circulated on the internet. The document focused on disclosing the anti-corruption and rectification results of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group in the past year. The report covered 17 cases, with a total amount involved of approximately 170 million yuan. Several internal sources stated that these cases have been circulated internally as a warning. According to the report, in 2025, the discipline inspection and supervision agencies of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group and its subsidiaries investigated and examined 30 people, and gave disciplinary actions to 42 people. Among the 17 typical cases, the personnel involved were in key positions of several core subsidiaries of the group, such as Zhongyi Pharmaceutical, Wong Lo Kat Pharmaceutical, Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Factory, Hejigong Pharmaceutical Factory, and Huangzhong Chinese Medicine.
