Today, the largest wind power project in the southwest region of our country - the 10 MW wind turbine unit of the China Datang Lianxing Wind Farm has been officially connected to the grid for power generation, marking a new breakthrough in the application of large-capacity wind power units in mountainous scenarios in our country. The project is located in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, with a total of 71 wind turbines and a total installed capacity of 149 MW. Among them, the 10 MW wind turbine has a hub height of 121 meters, a rotor diameter of 222 meters, and a maximum wind swept area of nearly 6 standard soccer fields, making it the wind turbine with the largest single-machine capacity in the southwest region.
