The second joint meeting on the protection of financial consumers and investors was held in Beijing.
Recently, the China Banking Regulatory Commission, together with the People's Bank of China and the China Securities Regulatory Commission, held the second joint meeting on the protection and regulation of financial consumers and investors in Beijing. Invited attendees included the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Supreme People's Court, the Ministry of Public Security, and the State Administration for Market Regulation. The meeting emphasized the need for the China Banking Regulatory Commission to work together with the People's Bank of China and the China Securities Regulatory Commission to continuously deepen the coordination mechanism for financial consumer protection and investor protection, fully leverage the functions of the joint meeting and liaison officer meeting mechanisms, guide local authorities to improve their coordination mechanisms, and strengthen coordinated efforts in areas such as addressing complaints at the source, resolving disputes through diversification, and managing cross-market consumer protection issues.
