The ascend CANN completes open source and open access.

At the Huawei 2026 Spring Media Salon held recently, Li Yongle, General Manager of Huawei's Open Source Business in Computing, revealed the latest open source progress of the Kunpeng and Ascend ecosystems. The data shows that the number of independent software developers partners in Ascend has exceeded 3,000, and the number of developers has reached 4 million. In terms of programming frameworks, AI frameworks, training inference, etc., remote docking and support with more than 50 mainstream open source communities such as Triton, PyTorch, vLLM, and verl have been achieved. New features and characteristics are open sourced to the community, allowing developers to access the latest technology in real time.
