The China Passenger Car Association stated that there were 16 working days in February, with this year's 9-day Spring Festival holiday being the longest in history, making it 3 days shorter than February 2025's 19 working days. Due to the impact of light car consumption before and after the Spring Festival holiday, most car companies will take additional annual leave around the holiday. Therefore, the effective production and sales time in February is very short, and it is expected that the car market sales volume in February will be at its absolute lowest point of the year, which may help alleviate retail inventory pressure.
