Han Song, former Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, has been expelled from the party and removed from public office for serious violations of discipline and law.

Approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission conducted a case review and investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Han Song, former Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. After investigation, it was found that Han Song had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, violated the spirit of the Party's Eight-Point Code on austerity, accepted banquets, tourism and fitness arrangements in violation of regulations, long-term free use of vehicles belonging to management and service objects; he sought benefits for others and accepted gifts in the selection and appointment of cadres; he lost integrity, accepted illegal gifts; engaged in corruption without any bottom line, engaged in power-money transactions, used his position for personal gain in business operations and project contracting for others, and illegally accepted large amounts of money. Han Song seriously violated the Party's organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and lifestyle discipline, committed serious illegal acts in his duties, and is suspected of bribery crimes. Furthermore, he did not repent or correct his behavior after the 18th National Congress of the Party, with serious nature and bad influence, he shall be severely punished. In accordance with relevant provisions of the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China", the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", and the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China", after deliberation at a meeting of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, it was decided to expel Han Song from the Party; the National Supervisory Commission shall dismiss him from office; terminate his qualification as a delegate to the 14th Party Congress of Xi'an; confiscate his illegally acquired property; and transfer his suspected criminal acts to the procuratorate for investigation and prosecution, along with the confiscated assets.
