According to the latest performance report from the relevant company Coherent, as the scale of artificial intelligence clusters expands to "Scale-up" and "Scale-out" architectures, 800G and 1.6T high-speed optical modules have become the core growth engines. The company revealed that the demand for 1.6T products is growing much faster than expected. In the early stages, EML and silicon photonics solutions were the main focus, and in the second half of the year, mass production of 200G VCSEL solutions will be launched, with significant revenue contribution expected by the calendar year 2026.
