Dow announced that, in order to further expand overseas markets and enhance the company's sustainable development capabilities, the company plans to acquire the plastic and engineering plastics compound business departments of Hwaseung Chemical Co., Ltd. and Hwaseung Vina Co., Ltd., held by Hwaseung Chemical Vietnam Co., Ltd., using its own or self-raised funds. The seller intends to establish a new company by separating the existing compound business department of the company, and the company will acquire 100% of the target company's equity. The provisional total purchase price of the target equity is $15.737 million, which is based on the net assets and business assets of the existing compound business department of the company as of June 30, 2025. The final amount of the transfer price will be determined after the company conducts an audit of the target company's assets and liabilities on the pricing reference date.
