Domestic large aircraft route +1 Spring Festival first day, Eastern Airlines C919 starts flying Shanghai to and from Zhuhai route.

According to the Guangdong Branch of China Eastern Airlines, on the first day of the Spring Festival travel rush on February 2nd, the domestically produced large aircraft C919 started operating regular commercial flights from Shanghai Hongqiao to Zhuhai. Up to now, China Eastern Airlines' 14 C919 aircraft have operated on 18 routes in 14 cities. It is understood that during the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush, China Eastern Airlines' 14 C919 aircraft will operate over 50 flights daily, a 52.6% increase compared to last year.
