Copper prices continue to fall, traders are watching for fluctuations in the metal market.
Copper prices continued to fall on Monday, following the sharp decline towards the end of last week. After experiencing turbulence earlier this year, metal traders are preparing for even greater volatility. The London Metal Exchange copper futures price fell by 3.3% to $12,722 per ton at one point. Last Thursday, the LME copper price briefly rose above $14,500 per ton and hit a record high, but fell below $13,000 per ton during Friday's trading session.
