Monthly penetration rate of new energy heavy trucks exceeded 50%, setting a new record in the industry.

With the deepening of the "dual carbon" target and the green transformation of road freight transportation, the process of new energy in China's heavy-duty truck market is accelerating by 2025. Recently, the latest data on compulsory insurance released by the First Commercial Vehicle Network showed that by 2025, the cumulative sales of new energy heavy-duty trucks in China reached 231,000, an increase of 182% year-on-year. In December 2025, the terminal sales of new energy heavy-duty trucks in China surged to 45,300 units; the monthly terminal penetration rate broke through the 50% mark, reaching 53.89%, setting a new industry record. Among them, pure electric heavy-duty trucks performed particularly well, with sales of 40,800 units, accounting for 48.6% of the market share, achieving a double historical breakthrough in monthly sales and penetration rate along with new energy heavy-duty trucks.
