The number of established companies and startups in Hong Kong has reached a new high, highlighting Hong Kong's position as an international business hub.

The annual statistics published by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government on the 26th show that Hong Kong's unique attractiveness to global enterprises continues to increase, making it an ideal destination for establishing or expanding businesses. By 2025, the number of resident companies in Hong Kong with their parent companies in mainland China and overseas has increased to 11,070, while the number of local startups in Hong Kong has increased to 5,221, both reaching record highs.
