United Nations agency: More than 3 million children in Yemen will face dropping out of school this year.

The UNICEF office in Yemen recently warned that by 2026, one quarter of school-aged children in Yemen, about 3.2 million children, will face being out of school. In addition, about 1.5 million internally displaced children of school age are at risk of permanently dropping out of school due to education interruptions. UNICEF called on the international community to increase support and ensure the right to education for children in Yemen.
