Ivory Coast's new government holds its first cabinet meeting, emphasizing security and unity.
Ivory Coast President Alassane Ouattara clarified the governing priorities of the new government at the first cabinet meeting after its establishment on the 25th, listing security, national cohesion, and peace as core objectives. Ouattara stated at the meeting that the new government must prioritize maintaining security, national cohesion, and peace, as well as accelerating national development. He emphasized that ministerial departments must maintain discipline and unity in advancing government work processes. To achieve the goal of nationwide water and electricity coverage, it is necessary to comprehensively assess areas without water and electricity coverage and expansion needs, in order to scientifically plan future work. The new government, consisting of 34 members, was formed on the 24th in Ivory Coast.
