To conduct a comprehensive analysis of the operating conditions of the non-ferrous metal industry in 2025, to assess the industry trends in 2026, to identify the problems and prominent contradictions in the production and operation of enterprises, and to listen to relevant policy suggestions, a symposium on the analysis of the operating conditions of key enterprises in the non-ferrous metal industry in 2026 was held at the headquarters of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association on January 22. Chen Xuesen, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and leaders of the Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Raw Materials Industry Department, attended the meeting. In his summary speech, Chen Xuesen pointed out that the overall operation of the non-ferrous metal industry in 2025 was good, and the industry has shown a positive development momentum. In response to the practical suggestions put forward by business representatives, the Nonferrous Metals Association will carefully review and research, and effectively play the role of a bridge and link between the government and enterprises. He hopes that state-owned enterprises and private enterprises can learn from each other, cooperate deeply, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the non-ferrous industry. He emphasized that non-ferrous enterprises have the important mission of supporting the development of the real economy and safeguarding national strategic security. In the new year, the entire industry should be guided by Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, build confidence, forge ahead, and work hard to make a "non-ferrous" contribution to the comprehensive construction of a socialist modernized country.
