Faw Toyota Motor Corporation announced a recall of some vehicles by its Changchun Fengyue Branch and Guangzhou Toyota Motor Corporation.

Recently, FAW Toyota Motor Corporation's Changchun Fengyue Branch Company and Guangzhou Toyota Motor Corporation, in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products", filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation. Starting from January 23, 2026, a total of 5056 Venza vehicles produced between December 11, 2025 and January 12, 2026 will be recalled. Due to improper setting of the multimedia screen control program, some vehicles within the scope of this recall may experience a black screen and cannot be restored when started, leading to the inability to operate the defrost and defog function. In extreme cases, it may affect the driver's line of sight and pose a safety hazard.
