The largest car transport ship built domestically has been launched.

According to China State Shipbuilding Corporation Guangzhou Shipyard International, the first 10800-vehicle LNG dual-fuel car carrier ship built by Guangzhou Shipyard for a South Korean company has recently been launched. This is currently the largest car carrier ship built domestically. The ship is equipped with a dual-fuel power system using LNG and fuel oil, meeting the Tier III emission standards of the International Maritime Organization. The ship is 230 meters long, 40 meters wide, and has a draft of 10.5 meters, balancing environmental protection and efficiency. Its 14-deck car deck design can flexibly load various cargo such as electric cars, hydrogen-powered cars, and heavy trucks, with a maximum capacity of 10800 vehicles per ship.
