Fudan team develops visual imaging technology that assists in removing liver tumors without the need for contrast agent injection.

Fudan University's team led by Zhang Fan and He Haisheng, in collaboration with the team of Qin Lunxiu and Zhu Wenwei from affiliated Huashan Hospital, have successfully developed a new technology for real-time visualization of tumor boundaries during surgery without the need for injecting any contrast agents. This technology is known as tissue autofluorescence near-infrared imaging.
