Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: Sufficient supply of "basket of vegetables" products guaranteed during the Spring Festival.

The State Council Information Office held a press conference. At the press conference, relevant officials introduced that during the Spring Festival, there is sufficient guarantee of the supply of "basket of vegetables" products, which can better meet the holiday consumption needs of the people. According to statistics, as of January 10th, the total area of vegetables in the fields nationwide was more than 77 million mu, an increase of over 1.9 million mu compared to the same period last year; meat such as pork, beef, lamb, poultry, as well as fruits and aquatic products are also in sufficient supply.
