Japan's largest nuclear power plant, the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant Unit 6, restarted on the 21st. This is the first restart of a nuclear power plant owned by TEPCO, the operator of the accident-prone Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, since the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident triggered by the "3.11" Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
