Tao Qing said at a press conference held on the same day that relevant parties have strengthened key breakthroughs, organized and implemented national major scientific and technological projects, industrial base remanufacturing projects, etc., and achieved breakthroughs in a number of key materials; strengthened promotion and application, focused on the promotion and application bottlenecks faced by new materials in the early stage of entering the market, and thoroughly organized and implemented the first batch of new material insurance compensation policies, expanded the support quantity and duration range of the first batch of new materials, and encouraged local governments to improve the first batch of policies according to local conditions and speed up the promotion of the first batch of materials. In addition, in terms of strengthening capacity building, a system of 5 key new material platforms covering the entire process of material research and development, pilot scale development, material production, testing and validation, and material application has been established. The synchronous testing and validation and iterative upgrading of new materials and end products has been accelerated, providing nearly 3,000 batches of new material application verification services and over 1.5 million testing and evaluation services.
