Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs Zhao Zenglian meets with the Commissioner of the Cuban General Customs Administration Cordoves.

On January 20th, Zhao Zenglian, Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs of China, met with a delegation led by the Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs of Cuba, Cordeoves. In order to implement the strategic consensus of the two countries' leaders, the two sides exchanged views on establishing a "smart customs" partnership, conducting mutual recognition cooperation on Authorized Economic Operators (AEO), enhancing law enforcement administrative assistance, innovative technology application and capacity building in supervision, as well as customs food safety cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). They also signed customs cooperation documents. The Cuban Ambassador to China, Pedro Blanco, attended the meeting.
