Jiangxi Communications Administration organizes "Fifteen-Five" Industry Planning and Telecommunications Universal Service Symposium.

On January 13, the Jiangxi Provincial Communications Administration organized a symposium on the formulation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" and universal telecom services. The meeting summarized the achievements of the information and communications industry in the province since the "14th Five-Year Plan", and pointed out the challenges facing the industry. The meeting emphasized that 2026, as the opening year of the "15th Five-Year Plan", the information and communications industry needs to take initiative, act actively, comprehensively enhance its capabilities for integrated development of digital and real economies, and accelerate the modernization of infrastructure. All basic telecommunications enterprises were called upon to fulfill their social responsibilities, promote network coverage in rural and remote areas, and improve the network level in regions such as Gannan, a former central Soviet area.
