The National Accreditation Inspection and Testing Work Conference for the year 2026 was held in Beijing.

On January 19th, the State Administration for Market Regulation held a national conference on accreditation, recognition, inspection, and testing work in Beijing for the year 2026. The meeting emphasized the need to enhance industry credibility, establish a national unified and authoritative qualification assessment system, raise the entry threshold for certification and testing institutions, strengthen the responsibility of institutions, establish a system of strict punishment for violations, and cultivate an honest industry ecology. It also stressed the importance of strengthening support for high-quality development, modernizing the industrial system, boosting domestic consumption, constructing a unified national market, promoting green transformation and development, and ensuring safety. The meeting also highlighted the need to expand international influence by actively participating in and leading the formulation of international accreditation rules, expanding and deepening multilateral and bilateral cooperation and recognition, enhancing the level of trade facilitation for accreditation services, and promoting the international development of professional organizations.
