China completes delivery of first batch of rice for emergency food aid project to Cuba.

The first batch of rice delivery ceremony for the emergency food aid project by China to Cuba was held on the 19th at the grain transfer warehouse of the Ministry of Internal Trade in Cuba. Cuban Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Perez-Oliva, Minister of Internal Trade Diaz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rivas, and Chinese Ambassador to Cuba Hua Xin attended the event. Perez-Oliva expressed at the ceremony that this batch of aid materials fully embodies China's valuable help and deep friendship towards Cuba. In addition to food aid, the two sides have also carried out extensive cooperation in various fields such as energy, achieving rapid and effective progress. In the current difficult conditions, Cuba sincerely thanks the support of the Chinese government, as this is a concrete practice of building a community with a shared future between China and Cuba.
