The total sales target of 11 car companies this year has surged by 19%.
With the opening of the car market in 2026, mainstream car companies have successively disclosed their sales targets for the new year. According to incomplete statistics, there are currently 11 car companies that have clearly mentioned or announced sales targets on different occasions, with a total of 23.8 million units. In the just-passed 2025, the total sales of these 11 companies were 20 million units, with a total target sales growth rate of about 19%. This does not include the 4 manufacturers such as BYD, SAIC, GAC, and Ideal, who have not announced their targets. These four companies collectively completed sales of 11.67 million units in 2025. This means that if all the major manufacturers can maintain last year's targets or achieve growth targets, the sales of the major car companies in 2026 will reach 35.47 million units, an increase of about 12%.
