Peru made a final ruling of sunset review on anti-subsidy for US biodiesel.

On January 15, the Dumping, Subsidies, and Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers Committee of the National Competition and Intellectual Property Protection Agency of Peru published Announcement No. 273-2025/CDB-INDECOPI in the official daily newspaper "El Peruano". The announcement affirmed the affirmative final ruling of the third sunset review for countervailing duties on pure biodiesel originating from the United States and blended biodiesel with a biofuels content of over 50%. It was decided that countervailing duties will continue to be imposed on the products involved for a period of five years starting from August 23, 2025, with the tax rate remaining at $178 per ton. The announcement will come into effect from the date of its publication. The Peruvian tariff number for the products involved is 3826.00.00.00.
