In 2025, the cumulative sales volume of power and energy storage batteries in China increased by 63.6% year-on-year.

According to statistics from the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, from January to December 2025, China's cumulative production of power and energy storage batteries reached 1755.6GWh, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 60.1%. During the same period, China's cumulative sales of power and energy storage batteries reached 1700.5GWh, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 63.6%. Among them, the cumulative sales of power batteries reached 1200.9GWh, accounting for 70.6% of the total sales, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 51.8%; the cumulative sales of energy storage batteries reached 499.6GWh, accounting for 29.4% of the total sales, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 101.3%.
