January 16th: The "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" increased by 0.05 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on January 16th, the "Farm Produce Wholesale Price 200 Index" was 128.24, an increase of 0.05 points from yesterday, and the "Basket of Goods" product wholesale price index was 130.81, an increase of 0.07 points from yesterday. As of 2:00 pm today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 18.07 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; beef was 65.21 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.7% from yesterday; mutton was 63.43 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.9% from yesterday; eggs were 7.80 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; and white chicken was 17.56 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday. The average price of 28 vegetables monitored was 5.54 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.7% from yesterday; the average price of 6 fruits monitored was 8.02 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.0% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 19.22 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; carp was 13.60 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.9% from yesterday; white pomfret was 10.31 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.5% from yesterday; and large yellow croaker was 41.72 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.7% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with the highest price increase compared to yesterday are watermelon, Kyoho grapes, green beans, Chinese cabbage and green peppers, with increases of 5.9%, 3.2%, 2.4%, 2.2% and 2.2% respectively; while the top five with the highest price decrease are pineapple, flower carp, white pomfret, duck pear and lettuce, with decreases of 4.5%, 3.3%, 1.5%, 1.3% and 1.2% respectively.
