US energy stocks rose before the bell on Wednesday as continued geopolitical tensions in Iran and Venezuela pushed up oil prices and related sectors. Exxon Mobil rose 0.1%, ConocoPhillips rose 0.6%, Halliburton rose 0.67%, APA rose 0.66%, DHT Holdings rose 1.6%, and Frontline rose 1%.
