Shanghai: By 2027, large-scale implementation of high-level autonomous driving applications will be achieved.

The Economic and Information Commission of Shanghai, the Traffic Commission of Shanghai, and the Public Security Bureau of Shanghai jointly issued the "Shanghai High-Level Autonomous Driving Leading Zone 'Model Speed Smart Travel' Action Plan". According to the overall idea of "model-driven leadership, application demonstration driving, industrial synergy development, and policy support", the plan aims to accelerate the transformation of autonomous driving technology innovation into industrial competitiveness. By 2027, the scale deployment of high-level autonomous driving application scenarios will be realized, with strong support for industry innovation from public service platforms, key technologies and industrial scale reaching international leading levels, forming an intelligent connected vehicle industry cluster with international competitiveness and influence, and basically establishing a global leading high-level autonomous driving leading zone.
