IDC's latest "Global Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker Report" preliminary data shows that in the fourth quarter of 2025, global smartphone shipments increased by 2.3% year-on-year to reach 336.3 million units. In 2025, global smartphone shipments for the whole year reached 1.26 billion units. Among them, the annual shipment volume of smartphones in the Chinese market in 2025 is approximately 285 million units, a decrease of 0.6% year-on-year; the top five brands in terms of shipment volume are Huawei, Apple, vivo, Xiaomi, and OPPO. Faced with expectations of significant increases in storage prices, the cost pressure on smartphone manufacturers will further intensify. It is predicted that in 2026, the shipment volume in the Chinese smartphone market may see a more significant decline.
