General Administration of Customs: In the whole of last year, China imported a total of 18.48 trillion yuan worth of goods, accounting for approximately 10% of the global import share.
Wang Jun, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Customs, said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that the domestic economy continues to recover well, with production and consumption demand effectively released, providing broad market space and cooperation opportunities for countries. The latest international data shows that in the first three quarters of last year, China has become a major export destination for 79 countries and regions, an increase of 3 from the full year of 2024. Last year, China imported a total of 18.48 trillion yuan worth of goods, and its share of global imports will remain at around 10%.
