Sichuan: Promote the comprehensive recycling and utilization of waste power batteries of new energy vehicles and lithium batteries of electric bicycles.

The Action Plan for Building a Green Manufacturing System Throughout the Entire Cycle and Process in Sichuan Province has been issued, in which it is proposed to strengthen the comprehensive utilization of new types of solid waste. We will coordinate the promotion of recycling and reuse of waste power batteries for new energy vehicles and lithium batteries for electric bicycles, relying on the regional recycling and reuse centers to construct a standardized and efficient recycling and reuse system. We will carry out technological breakthroughs such as efficient separation of waste photovoltaic modules and purification of metal recycling, and promote efficient dismantling and clean recycling technologies and complete sets of equipment for decommissioned photovoltaic modules. We will promote the comprehensive utilization of components such as wind power generators, bearings, and gearboxes, and conduct research and development and industrial application of technologies for efficient and low-cost dismantling and utilization of wind turbine blades.
