The Ministry of Civil Affairs held a special press conference on the morning of January 13th to introduce the situation related to the "Measures on Cultivating Subject Entities of Elderly Care Services and Promoting the Development of Silver Economy". Guo Hanqiao, Deputy Director of the Aging Work Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, stated that we are actively promoting the inclusion of the development of the silver economy in relevant special planning, coordinating with relevant departments to research and formulate support measures to promote high-quality development of the silver economy, and clarify the main goals and key tasks of industrial development in the near future. The focus is on specific areas such as elderly care services, rehabilitation aids, and products for the elderly, proposing a series of targeted support measures to optimize industrial layout, guide orderly investment of social capital, technology, and other factors, and promote the upgrading of the industry.
