Seized crime tools and suspect's DNA Investigators reveal more details of Louvre burglary case.
On January 12, local time, according to information disclosed by investigators, the police had discovered a hidden stash of tools used for committing crimes. This finding indicates that the Louvre theft case was a organized, prepared, and professional crime, rather than a spontaneous act. Following the theft at the Louvre Museum in October of last year, investigators identified several addresses that could be related to the case during the monitoring process. In a disused bicycle storage room in Levallois-Perret, they found tools such as angle grinders, electric drills, locators, signal jammers, locksmith tools, and other tools used for committing crimes. These are not items commonly carried by ordinary thieves, but rather the complete equipment of a professional theft gang, effectively undermining any defense that the suspects had no preparation for the crime.
