On the 11th local time, the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement reiterating its consistent historical position on its relationship with Cuba, emphasizing that its position is in line with the United Nations Charter and principles of international law, respecting the right of all countries to freely exercise self-determination and national sovereignty. The statement said that Venezuela's relationship with the Caribbean region and Cuba has always been based on brotherly friendship, solidarity, mutual assistance, cooperation for mutual benefit, and complementarity. Venezuela reiterated that international relations should adhere to the principles of international law, non-interference, equality of national sovereignty, and the principle of people's self-determination. Venezuela emphasized that political and diplomatic dialogue is the only way to peacefully resolve disputes.
