Longi Green Energy joins hands with multiple parties to jointly build a 180,000-ton annual production green methanol project in Ganyu, Lianyungang.

On November 21st, Longi Green Energy, Zhongsheng Technology Group Co., Ltd., Lianyungang Port Holding Group Co., Ltd., and the Ganyu District People's Government of Lianyungang City officially signed the "Lianyungang Ganyu Annual Production of 180,000 Tons of Green Methanol Project Investment Agreement". The project aims to create a benchmark for the annual production of 180,000 tons of green methanol industry, and to build a complete industry chain loop of "wind-solar power-green electricity-biomass utilization-green chemical industry-port logistics". According to the agreement, the project is planned to be completed in the third quarter of 2027, by which time it will solve the problem of disposing of approximately 1.2 million mu of straw waste for local farmers each year, estimated to increase farmers' income by more than 300 million yuan, achieving a win-win situation for ecological and livelihood benefits.
