Infineon wins case, two core GaN patents maintained valid by the State Intellectual Property Office.

According to the latest review decision of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the global gallium nitride leader, InnoSci Technologies, officially obtained a victory in the validity of its two core gallium nitride patents today. The decision clearly upholds the full validity of InnoSci Technologies' patent claims and rejects the invalidity request made by Infineon. Infineon lost completely in this case. It is reported that earlier this year, InnoSci Technologies initiated a patent infringement lawsuit against Infineon based on these two patents.
