Today, the Development Research Center of the State Post Bureau released the "Global Express Development Report" at the 6th Express Industry Conference in 2025. The report pointed out that in 2024, the global express parcel volume reached approximately 2.679 billion pieces, an increase of 17.49% compared to the previous year, with a business revenue of about 4603.7 billion RMB, an increase of 14.05% year-on-year. With the support of a large e-commerce consumer base and an increasingly perfect cross-border supply chain system, the Asia-Pacific region maintains an absolute advantage, with express parcel volume exceeding 2.1 billion pieces, accounting for 78.9% of the global total, and business revenue accounting for nearly 40%. In China, the express parcel volume was 1.750.8 billion pieces, an increase of 21.5% year-on-year, and business revenue was 1.403.35 billion RMB, an increase of 13.8% year-on-year. China's express parcel market size has maintained its position as the world's largest for eleven consecutive years, achieving a leapfrog development of billions of pieces per month.
