Inner Mongolia completed the prevention and control of desertification on 6,688 hectares of land in five years.

Journalists learned from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Forestry and Grassland Bureau that in the past five years, Inner Mongolia has completed a total of 66.88 million mu of sand control and soil erosion, accounting for over 40% of the national control area, further strengthening the important ecological security barrier in northern China.
