Advanced equipment from multiple countries made its appearance at the Dubai Airshow, with coordinated manned and unmanned combat becoming a focal point.
This year's air show featured a variety of highlights from participating countries, showcasing technological breakthroughs in the field of military aviation and aerospace. Russia participated in the form of a national exhibition group, displaying over 800 pieces of equipment, including the Su-57E fighter jet, the Il-76MD-90A heavy transport aircraft, the Yak-130M trainer aircraft, as well as various air defense systems and airborne weapons. The Su-57E, making its debut in the Middle East, publicly demonstrated its internal bomb bay performance during a pre-opening adaptation flight. General Atomics, a US company, showcased its in-development YFQ-42A unmanned combat aircraft for the first time in the Middle East. This aircraft is participating in a bid for the US Air Force's unmanned collaborative combat aircraft project, competing for qualification to collaborate with the US military's sixth-generation aircraft. The UAE's local defense company EDGE had the largest exhibition stand, displaying a concept model of a large unmanned combat aircraft. This aircraft is equipped with a large bomb bay and electro-optical detection equipment, placing extremely high technological demands on its stealth capabilities and detection capabilities.
