Russian astronauts use biometric technology to conduct transactions online in space.

The Russian National Space Group announced on the 15th that Russian cosmonaut Alexei Zubritsky successfully completed a transaction on the Russian "State Services" website using biometric technology inside the International Space Station. Zubritsky used biometric technology to log in to the Russian "State Services" website from space and completed a transaction to prohibit the application for a mobile SIM card online, taking only 30 seconds. After completing this transaction, even if someone has Zubritsky's identification, they cannot apply for a mobile SIM card in his name.
